Inspired by historical ceramic forms, this tall jug is thrown from a blend of Australian stoneware clays and fired to 1300°C in a reduction atmosphere. The ash glaze develops a richly varied surface of soft olive greens, warm cream tones, amber flashes and iron speckling, shifting from satin to glassy with subtle movement unique to atmospheric firing.
Made to be used often, every detail has been carefully considered. The strong pulled handle provides balance and a comfortable grip, while the refined pouring lip creates a clean, controlled pour.
